The Cornish Pasty - February's Pasty of the Month

This February we see the return of Cornish Pasty Week, which will run from Sunday 24th February, culminating on Saturday 2nd March at the World Pasty Championships held at the Eden Project. Due to this, we couldn't exactly choose another pasty other than the Cornish Pasty for our Pasty of the Month, could we?!
Our Cornish Pasty previously won Gold at the World Pasty Championships in 2017 in the Company Cornish Category, a category which we've managed to place in the top 2 for the last 3 years running.
This is our original pasty, and to be a 'Cornish Pasty' must comply with PGI rules. It consists of potatoes, swede and onion- and of course steak! We traditionally use trimmed skirt beef. We also have “in house” butchers to ensure that only the best quality beef goes into our pasties! This cut of beef produces a rich gravy during the baking process, thus ensuring (alongside our secret pepper seasoning!) a genuine flavoursome Cornish Pasty.
