FEBRUARY'S PASTY OF THE MONTH: THE TRADITIONAL CORNISH PASTY

Goodbye January, hello February... Introducing our Pasty of the Month for February - The Traditional Cornish Steak Pasty. As this February we will be having the first ever Cornish Pasty Week leading into the World Pasty Championships, we thought what better pasty for this month than the original! Gold winner at the World Pasty Championships 2017, our Traditional Cornish Steak Pasty will always be our favourite - you can't beat tradition.
'This is our original pasty, and to be a ‘Cornish Pasty’ must comply with CPA rules. It consists of potatoes, swede and onion- and of course the steak! We traditionally use trimmed skirtbeef. We also have “inhouse” butchers to ensure that only the best quality beef goes into our pasties! This cut of beef produces a rich gravy during the baking process, thus ensuring (alongside our secret pepper seasoning!) a genuine flavoursome Cornish Pasty.'
